Helen Keller and Franklin Delano Roosevelt

HELEN KELLER:
Helen Keller was born in Tuscumbia, a small rural town in Alabama, USA. Your deafblindness was caused by a fever in February 1882 when she was only 19 months old. His inability to communicate in such an early stage of development was very traumatic for her and her family due to this was nearly impossible for a while.

For him to speak, Sullivan put Helen's hand in his throat so he could feel the vibrations created when communicating. Helen Sullivan was trying to form these same vibrations. This procedure was used to teach Helen to speak at a young age.

His speech, however, remained unclear. It was not until years later that, with the help of the technique of a voice teacher and support from Annie, Helen was finally able to speak clearly.

Daughter of Captain Arthur Henley Keller and Kate Adams Keller, Helen was born with full sight and hearing. Today the nature of his illness remains a mystery. Doctors at the time called it "brain fever" while today's doctors think may have been scarlet fever or meningitis.

FRANKLIN DELANO ROOSEVELT:
Assuming the Presidency at the depth of the Great Depression, Franklin D. Roosevelt helped the American people regain faith in themselves. He brought hope as he promised prompt, vigorous action, and asserted in his Inaugural Address, "the only thing we have to fear is fear itself."
Born in 1882 at Hyde Park, New York--now a national historic site--he attended Harvard University and Columbia Law School.

On St. Patrick's Day, 1905, he married Eleanor Roosevelt.
Following the example of his fifth cousin, President Theodore Roosevelt, whom he greatly admired, Franklin D. Roosevelt entered public service through politics, but as a Democrat. He won election to the New York Senate in 1910. President Wilson appointed him Assistant Secretary of the Navy, and he was the Democratic nominee for Vice President in 1920.

The third secret of fatima

Already for some time have been promoting some ideas related to alleged messages given by Mary on the end of the world. Now these supposed messages have become a mail on THE THIRD SECRET OF FATIMA, which it just causes confusion and fear among the Christian people. Therefore let me first let you know that the Church has never authorized the publication of what is known as "the third part of Fatima message" and then comment on the supposed message to rinse completely.
It's a mistake to conclude the third part of the Message of Fatima as a "secret" and that the Virgin gave to the three shepherd children in Fatima, a message (known as the Message of Fatima) divided into three parts. The first two parts concern the world at large and were made public knowledge at the time that the Virgin requested by its partners. The third was addressed to the Pope for what he alone has. In an interview with Italian television last year by Cardinal Ratzinger, Prefect for the Doctrine of the Faith, asked if he knew this part of the document, which clearly said so, that he had read and was information that only belonged to the Popes it was not public knowledge. Asked if it contained an announcement on disaster or the end of the world to which he replied categorically that: "The document contains information that is and has been of great benefit to the Fathers and nothing more."
There is a group led by P. Gruner has promoted a level of the whole Church the idea that the document contains information that the world should know about the end of the world and the punishment that God will give men rebel. Pope himself has been accused of negligence for failing to disclose this document and church officials have hidden and confined to Sister Lucia (the last of the visionaries who still lives in a convent in Spain). This has only caused confusion and fear ... and of course, and morbid curiosity.

This, then, is nothing but an alarmist message that has no basis because the message of Fatima, contains no information either on the end of the world, nor about the alleged "punishment" that God wants to infer it.
